Foil & Phaser will be starting a new critique workshop soon. The submissions will not be published, so this is the perfect opportunity to get feedback on a piece that has been giving you trouble, to tame your NaNoWriMo beast, or for new writers to get involved. All writers will send in either a short story, novel chapter, or the equivalent (under 7500 words) by the due date (to be determined, probably August 27th). Two or three of the stories will be posted each week and all the members of the group will have an opportunity to give their criticism. All skill levels from beginner to professional are invited to join. If you wish to remain anonymous, just use a pen name and make a free gmail/hotmail/yahoo/etc. email account.
Priority will be given to those who are previous workshop participants or are members of The Sword & Laser or Vaginal Fantasy groups on Goodreads. A minimum of six people must sign up or the workshop will be cancelled. Those wishing to take part should fill out the contact form below by August 13th.
This is the home of the Foil & Phaser writers workshop, a spin-off community website for fans of the Sword & Laser book club and podcast who want to develop their writing skills.
